Lieldienu Balva is a traditional sprint orienteering competition with a long history – it has been held every year since 2002. The event is organised by the orienteering club Ozons, and over the past five years it has developed into one of the key sprint orienteering events in the Baltic region.

Since 2021, a knock-out sprint format has been introduced for the M/W18–21E classes, and from 2022 the competition has held World Ranking Event (WRE) status. This year, Lieldienu Balva will take place in Dauderi, a northern district of Riga. The terrain will offer a fast yet varied mix of well-maintained parkland, Soviet-era residential areas, and industrial zones.
