Two day individual competition. Runner with the fastest total time of both days wins. Middle distance on the first day, long on the second day.

Training possibility from 12:00 in similar terrain. There will be controls in the terrain.
Training maps for purchase are going to be available at the competition centre. Price for one map is 3 EUR.

Terrain

Mostly pine and spruce forest with very good runability. In some parts, undergrowth and fallen trees limit the running speed. Many differently sized marshes in the forest. Even in the marshes the running speed differs from good to limited in areas with undergrowth. On the first competition day, the competition terrain is rather flat. Maximum height difference is only 10 meters. Generally, there are only few paths and roads. On the second competition day, the land forms are more distinctive and rich in details in some parts of the map. Maximum height difference is 20 meters.

GPS Tracking

Competitors in classes MW21E will have to carry GPS devices provided by the organizers.
20 best in the M21E based on the WRE standings.
10 best in the W21E based on the WRE standings.
GPS devices will be handed out 10 minutes before the respective start of the runner.

Start and Starting Order

–3 minutes before the start the participant shall register and check their SportIdent number.
–2 minutes before the start extra control descriptions are available.
–1 minute before the start the participant shall arrive at the start line. After the last start signal the participant shall take the map from their respective map box. Participants are responsible to take the right map from their class box.

Competitors in the classes MW 12 and 14 are allowed to take their map 1 minute before their respective start.
Competitors in the classes MW 8 and 10 have free start time. Start interval between two competitors in MW 8 and 10 is 1 minute.

Warm-up clothes will be transported from the start to the finish.

Day 1 – The starting list of the MW21E classes is based on the WRE ranking on 16.03.2019. The competitor who has the best ranking starts last, the second best starts second last and so on.
Day 2 – A "red" starting group will be made in the MW21E classes. 20 best runners based on the WRE ranking (16.03.2019) start at the end.

Information for participants in elite classes:

06.04 All participants in elite classes have to registrate themselves at the start at latest 13.30
07.04. All participants in elite classes have to registrate themselves at the start at latest 11.30
Competitors who are late will be disqualified.

An area at the start will be mapped. Warm-up is only allowed in this area. The maps will be available at the start.
07.04. Spreading method may be used in classes M21E and W21E.

Electronic Punching System

SportIdent electronic punching system will be used. Those with their own SportIdent cards shall indicate their SportIdent card number in their entry. SportIdent cards are available for rent at the registration, rental fee is 1.00 EUR per day.
